My corn snake tries to bite me when i get him out his cage?

i have a 22 week corn snake he eats well is healthy and sheds in one piece but every time i go to pick him up from his cage he looks at my hand very funny and looks like he is about to bite it yet when i finally pick him up he is fine and is very friendly and playful can anyone help!
