Is no heat source for a corn snake okay?

I had a heat pad in the bottom of he tank for my corn snake (almost a year old) and it broke or something because it isn't hot anymore. I never really saw my snake near it anyways and he seems fine, still alive. Is this harming him by not having one or should I replace it.
