Where to do with my Corn Snake as expecting first child..?

I have a californian corn snake (albino). He is about 7 years old. Unfortunately I can no longer look after the snake due needing the room for the nursery. I do not want to donate him to my old college as kids will tap the glass and wind him up. I do not want sell him back to the reptile centre as he might be sold onto a numpty who will not look after him. Anyone with any suggestion?
