Booting in runescape?

If I did this a year ago for like 3 or 4 days max off and on and stopped cause I knew it was wrong but it's been a year later an I've been fine but could I possibly get banned outta nowhere now for what happened over a year ago or as long as I abide by the rules now as I intend to and have further more will I be fine?
