What are these black spots on my snake's underbelly?

I never noticed them before and ive had him over a year. He's an orange corn snake. It's not anywhere else on his body, just the white underbelly of him. Could it be mites? He's fed a steady diet of frozen hoppers(mice, heated in hot water), about once a week.
