Left on basking lights for snake..?

Leaving the light on will not kill the snake. Just try to be more careful next time because they are nocturnal and can get stressed out if they come out at night and it's a bright light in their face. If anything you just pissed him off. He won't die though, he can regulate his temperature by going to the cool side for a while as needed.
