Internal conflict in poison by roald dahl?

so in the short story, poison by roald dahl i have to find 1 external conflict and 1 internal conflict. im pretty sure that the external conflict is that harry has a snake on his body. but what's the internal conflict? ive looked at various websites but i couldnt find it. thanks!
