Internal conflict in poison by roald dahl?
so in the short story, poison by roald dahl i have to find 1 external conflict and 1 internal conflict. im pretty sure that the external conflict is that harry has a snake on his body. but what's the internal conflict? ive looked at various websites but i couldnt find it. thanks!
Is it normal for a Ball Python to try biting while you're holding it?
I recently adopted a Ball Python from an exotic animal rescue. I've had multiple snakes over the years, 3 of which were ball pythons (male), so I usually know what's normal and what isn't. This new animal is keeping me on my toes! It's about 3ft, and I'm not sure about male or female because the woman running the rescue didn't know, and I can't handle him without getting attacked. I've had him/her home for a week and fed it 2 medium rats in that time, so I don't think he's snapping because he's hungry, and he shed right before I adopted him. I'm well aware that pythons can snap when you leave your hands it their tank, but is it normal for them to snap while you're holding it? The first time I went to hold him since bringing him home he went nuts! I had him about 2 inches below his head, so he couldn't reach to turn and bite... he actually tried a back-bend maneuver to go after me! What's the deal? I'm wondering if it's really a she, and she's gravid- therefore aggressive. I know she was being kept with two other male pythons for several weeks before I picked her up, but it's kinda early in the year I think... Advice?

It is very cute and fun. However I believe that the point is lacking. If a reader, as in the commenter above, doesn't know the point then it is not translating well. Sometimes that is intentional, obviously, but I don't know what your intention was. Also I felt like it was a little bogged down by the alliteration, as if you were searching for words to make it work but not to aid the poem. I liked it though. It showed a great sense of poetic flow and I am sure that your other poems were great. Friends and family are the wrong people to go to, as I have learned as well. You can't let them tell you what you want to hear.

Baby ball python stopped eating?
My ball python is probably around 7 or 8 months old. She got big enough to feed small rats, so about a month ago I fed her one. She hasn't eaten since, and she should have eaten about 2 weeks ago. We already had one other snake that had a respiratory infection and didn't eat for at least 3 months (he's probably about 2 years old, full grown). My snake lives in a cage with 6 other snakes and the temperatures are at the right heat, and all other are eating just fine. My snake looks very healthy, she has pretty colors, a nice white belly and is very strong. I'm not sure if she's just not hungry (if that's possible?) or if there could be something wrong. I really don't think she's sick, but if she possibly is I want to get her moved into another cage so the other babies don't get sick.

How do you figure out Native American ancestry?
My Great Grandma on my mothers side was %100 cherokee. My father was exactly half (blackfoot and chippewa). Is there any way to figure out percentile for me? I know it's not like with dogs or whatever lol But Ive been trying to figure it out in my head but i don't know the guidelines. What are these black spots on my snake's underbelly?
I never noticed them before and ive had him over a year. He's an orange corn snake. It's not anywhere else on his body, just the white underbelly of him. Could it be mites? He's fed a steady diet of frozen hoppers(mice, heated in hot water), about once a week.

How do I put my very old sick pet rats to sleep?
They are both 5 years old. They look miserable. I can't afford to take them to a vet to put them to sleep. I know people kill rats for snake food. But I am not sure how to do it?

I'm a sailor, and sailing can get people many good scholarships. Leaving the light on will not kill the snake. Just try to be more careful next time because they are nocturnal and can get stressed out if they come out at night and it's a bright light in their face. If anything you just pissed him off. He won't die though, he can regulate his temperature by going to the cool side for a while as needed.

Don't have sites for you, but as a resident of the Bay Area and friends with lots of old Salty Dogs, here's what I can tell you. According to my sources, all of the names on your list have been scrapped a long time ago. The ONLY Bay Area ferry still in existence is the Sioux City. It's in SF as a floating museum. It's fallin' on hard times also and is in desperate need of repairs. The cost of maintenance and dockage is very expensive, so to keep these grand old gals afloat is not going to be easy in a time of non use.

I would take the report to you local health department and talk to them about it as there doesn't seem to be the name or a letter head to the report. Even if they can't tell you if it is real, they might be able to suggest where to go to find out.
